We are currently seeking a Information Security Engineer II. The Information Security Engineer II will participate in establishing and maintaining a corporate-wide information security management program to insure that information assets are adequately protected. Experience with security and implementation in an enterprise environment is important. Will work closely with Senior Security Engineers in testing and implementing security systems and processes.
Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with bank entities, customers, staff, IT colleagues, and vendors to identify general security as well as application and database security related needs.
Assess available technologies and process and recommend solution options.
Monitor and report security incidents using the bank's STEM
Work with SOC to triage and remediate security incidents
Tracking and reporting security incidents
Supporting testing and use cases of systems tools such as Data Classification management, Data Loss Prevention
Ensure that consistent and proven information security practices are employed across all entities in order to better manage the growing level of cyber security risk.
Regularly provide aggregated view of all the potential risks and vulnerabilities to management.
Qualifications
3-5 years of IT and network security experience
Excellent technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and a wide range of security technologies, such as network security appliances, identity and access management systems, anti-malware solutions, automated policy compliance, logging and filtering tools, and desktop security solutions.
Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and associated network protocols and concepts.
Experience with IDS/IPS/SIEM and related security tools and technologies.
Familiarity with router and firewall operations and maintenance
Ability to interact with personnel at all levels and across all business units/organizations, and to understand business imperatives.
Strong knowledge in all core internet protocols (ex. TCP/IP, DNSD, SMTP, HTTP, etc.)
Experience working with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanning, laptop data encryption, endpoint data protection, and application pen-testing
Experience with dealing with security incidents and response
Experience with Computer forensics is a plus
Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred. Security related certifications (such as SANS GIAC, GSEC, CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are a plus.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
