We're looking for an individual to fill an associate attorney position that has experience in civil litigation.
The Position:
The job duties will typically include:
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs Prepare discovery, conduct depositions, review responses, and analyze documents Collaborate with attorneys for the purposes of developing case themes and strategies Attend hearings, trials, and mediations Negotiate resolutions and settlements on behalf of clients Conduct legal research and analysis using various resources such as Westlaw Drafting, formatting, and reviewing business agreements
Qualifications:
Licensed California Attorney Minimum 1
years experience in the field of litigation Excellent communication skills, writing skills, and reading comprehension skills Computer proficiency is a must, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products Preferred:
knowledge of Clio is a plus, but not required Experience with conducting legal research, drafting discovery, pleadings, and other legal documents Knowledge of California laws and regulations Ability to converse in Mandarin Chinese is a plus, but not required Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$85,000.
